Mumbai: The dazzling Miss India moment of 2018 is breaking the internet. Anukreethy Vas, a 19-year-old student from Tamil Nadu was declared as the winner of 55th edition of Femina Miss India 2018 pageant held at NSCI Stadium on Tuesday and was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
While Anukreethy Vas was declared as the winner of Femina Miss India 2018 and crowned by Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana became the first runner-up and Shreya Rao Kamavarapu from Andhra Pradesh became the second runner-up.
The 19-year-old Anukreethy has beaten 29 other contestants across India after impressing the judges including Indian cricketers Irfan Pathan and KL Rahul and Bollywood actors like Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol, and Kunal Kapoor.
The evening became even more glamorous and sparkling with the amazing performance of stars like Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, Miss United Continents 2017 Sana Dua and Miss Intercontinental 2017 Priyanka Kumari crowned their respective successors.
All the three ladies were looking fabulous. Miss India 2018 Anukreethy Vas will now represent India at Miss World 2018 and the runners-up Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shreya Rao Kamavarapu will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2018 and Miss United Continents 2018 respectively.
