The beautiful actress Priyanka Chopra is all set for the release of her upcoming 'The Sky Is Pink' as on Tuesday late in the night, the film team celebrated the wrap-up of the movie with a party.
The film directed by Shonali Bose also stars Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim in lead roles alongside the actor.
Along with Priyanka Chopra, the bash was attended by the director, producers Sidharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala, and cast members Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim. However, Farhan Akhtar was missing at the party.
After the wrap-up bash, Priyanka Chopra took to her social media handle, shared the pictures from the bash and also wrote a heartfelt note for her team. She wrote,
“And it’s a wrap. This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because @roykapurfilms and @rsvpmovies (Sid and ronnie) partnered with me on my first Hindi production.. but also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told. @faroutakhtar you made an amazing co actor all over again with all the laughter and fun!(you were missed tonight) and my amazing @zairawasim_ and @rohitsaraf10 who I’ve made friends for life with! As mentioned earlier, the actor shared photos also. There were four photos in all - a beautiful pink cake, a happy selfie with the women of The Sky Is Pink, and two photos of the entire team smiling to their hearts.
Earlier this week only, Priyanka returned to Mumbai and was spotted arriving at the airport. She was also spotted at the Roy Kapur Films office. Singer Nick Jonas, who is also her husband, took to Instagram to share a picture of the two of them with a caption that he was already missing her.
According to some reports, the story of the flick ‘The Sky is Pink’ is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary. After being diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13, she further became a motivational speaker.
Since the announcement of the flick, it has been the talk of the town. Well, one major reason behind such fame for the film is Priyanka's comeback in Bollywood after a gap of three years. The actor was last seen in 'Jai Gangaajal' of Prakash Jha which was released in 2016.
Well, the film is slated to hit the screens in October 2019. So, we have to wait some more for enjoying Priyanka’s comeback!
