Reportedly, Kollywood’s famous filmmaker cum actor Kamal Haasan is likely to play the role of super star Aamir khan in the Tamil Remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’ movie.
The director and the star cast for the upcoming flick is yet to be finalized by Kamal Haasan. There is no official confirmation from the actor’s side yet however a source unveils that-
“Kamal sir will choose the director of his choice. He might even direct it.”
PK’s Success Makes Haasan Starrer Go for its Tamil Remake
Aamir Khan Movies have always been successful in grabbing the attention of audiences as well critics, and his PK turned out to be biggest grossing movie. The Tamil Remake of Aamir Khan starrer PK will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Gemini Film Circuit had earlier produced many Tamil remakes such as Vasool Raja M.B.B.S, which was the remake of Munnabhai M.B.B.S and Nanban, which was remake of 3 Idiots.
A source said that-
"Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the film's remake rights and Kamal Haasan is expected to play the lead. Gemini had already remade two of Hirani's films and they were really impressed with 'PK' too.
Remake of PK Not Allowed to Release in Tamil Nadu?
Earlier Kollywood’s filmmaker Venkat Prabhu said that the Tamil remake of the movie PK would not allowed to be released in Tamil Nadu, because the flick has too many sensitive issues, which may not go well with the spectators of Tamil Nadu.Earlier rumors suggested that the actors Pawan Kalyan or Vijay are being considered for the lead role in the Tamil Remake of PK. But according to the latest buzz Vishwaroopam actor Kamal Haasan is roped in for the lead role. But now some Kamal Haasan movies like Papanasam and Uttama Villain are pending for the release.
