It has been a month or more since the teaser of the epic flick ‘Kabir Singh’ hit the internet. But not one day has passed without waiting for the trailer. And, finally, the trailer has come.
Yes, the trailer of highly-anticipated Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's next ‘Kabir Singh’ is here, and it wouldn't be wrong to say that it was worth the wait.
The official Hindi remake of the 2017 super-hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy features the 38-year-old actor in the lead role of a doctor and that too in obsessive lover’s avatar.
While it comes to the trailer, the two-and-a-half minute video shows Dr. Kabir Rajveer Singh (Shahid Kapoor) as a stubborn and a self-destructive man whose love for Preeti (Kiara Advani) has no boundaries. Needless to say that Shahid Kapoor's intense look, opposite to Kiara's childlike innocence stands out as a clear winner in the trailer. Apart from that, crisp and well-written dialogues also sought everyone's attention.
The trailer opens as Kabir Singh (Kapoor) interrogating about a girl at a clinic. Further, during the progression of the video, it can be seen that Kabir Singh is very, very aggressive and even his relationship with Preeti is as toxic as his habits.
Kabir Singh makers shared the film's trailer on YouTube with the caption:

In an interview, Shahid talked about his self-destructive character & said,
“It was almost schizophrenic because the two worlds are such contrasts. Had I been single, living alone, I might have immersed myself in this dark zone for six months, as I did during 'Udta Punjab'. But this time I am married, a father, so I had to sanitize myself before returning home to protect my children from the negative energy. I couldn’t carry Kabir’s emotional baggage back so I had to flip roles after pack-up. it took a lot out of me because not only does this character degenerate into a loner in a self-destructive mode, I had to also create three different silhouettes, one of which needed me to be out of shape.”
Soon after the trailer hit the internet, social media users started creating hilarious memes out of Kabir Singh trailer, like every other Bollywood film.
