The #MarjaavaanTrailer Will Give You Serious 'Ek Villain' Vibes

After the first collaboration in Ek Villain (2014), actors Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra are back together to impress the audience in ‘Marjaavaan’ as their second collaboration.

Yesterday morning, Actor Sidharth Malhotra took to his Twitter handle and shared the trailer of the flick. He captioned it as,

“Raavan ke dus sarr ke liye ek teer hi kaafi hai🏹 #MarjaavaanTrailer out now > http://bit.ly/Marjaavaan-OfficialTrailer
@Riteishd #TaraSutaria @Rakulpreet @zmilap @nikkhiladvani @itsBhushanKumar #KrishanKumar @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @iamDivyaKhosla @EmmayEntertain @TSeries @marjaavaan”

While Ritesh Deshmukh shared the trailer and wrote,

“Tu naayak toh main khalnaayak, tu shaana toh main DEDH shaana! #MarjaavaanTrailer out now - http://bit.ly/Marjaavaan-OfficialTrailer …
@SidMalhotra #TaraSutaria @Rakulpreet @zmilap @itsBhushanKumar #KrishanKumar @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @nikkhiladvani @iamDivyaKhosla @EmmayEntertain @TSeries”

The film also stars Tara Sutaria who is playing the role of an actress who is dumb (can’t speak) and Rakul Preet Singh, who is seen in just one scene in the trailer. Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is playing the role of the villain, is a dwarf in the film.

The trailer opens with Sidharth helping a man tied to two water tankers on either side with iron chains. Sidharth is seen tearing the chains apart, with sheer physical strength, dislodging the water hose that sets water sprinkling all around. Recorded in slow motion, this spectacular visual marks Sidharth Malhotra’s entry and establishes him as a ruthless goon.

The very next scene of the 3-minute-15-second trailer shows Tara Sutaria, Sidharth’s love interest in the film. Well, from the moment their eyes meet at a local market, we can sense their love story blossom. Interestingly, Tara, Sidharth and Ritesh and will surely remind you of Ek Villain as both the plots seem quite the same.

Also, the Riteish’s entry scene, humming the familiar tune of the song Teri Galliyan from Ek Villain will make you recall the flick.

Besides that, Sidharth’s opening line make a good impression that the movie will be full of great dialogues. He said,

"Mandir aur Masjid dono milenge. Guzrega iss desh ki jis gali se, madat milegi har kisi ko. Mango ya Ali se ya Bajrangbali se,"

While reviewing the trailer, movie critic Taran Adarsh wrote,

“Hard core mass entertainer... Trailer of #Marjaavaan... Stars Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh... Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri... 8 Nov 2019 release... #MarjaavaanTrailer:”

Karan Johar also called the trailer 'Seetimaar’ and wrote,

“This is what a full on commercial and masala film should be!!!! Seetimaar!!! Dhamakedar!!!! @SidMalhotra rocking the hero! @Riteishd killing it as the villain! Gorgeousness of Tara! Ada of @Rakulpreet @zmilap packing the punches! http://bit.ly/Marjaavaan-OfficialTrailer … #Marjaavaan SUPERHIT hai!”

Earlier, in an interview, the Director of the flick said,

“'Marjaavaan' is a love story with lots of action, dialoguebaazi and some beautiful tender moments. It also has a villain in Riteish’s character, who has a dark sense of humour.”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the flick “Marjaavaan” is most definitely Sidharth's best action film so far. The trailer promises that it will be interesting to watch a befitting face-off between Sidharth and Riteish.

However, we have to wait for it till November 8, so till then let’s watch the trailer here:
