Every year the date 8th March marks a special day worldwide, celebrating women power and the spirit of womanhood. International Women’s Day honors women from different walks of life who are the true architects of society.

Just like the whole world is celebrating this day, the Bollywood stars and celebrities also took to social media to share their message and extend the greetings.

Last year, the #MeTooMovement shook the Bollywood and other film industries across the country when the fearless women of the movie industry named the perpetrators of the disgraceful act. After several years of silence, the women from various fields came out in the open and spoke about sexual abuse.

And this Women’s Day is even more special for women as they stand up assertively and fiercely with their heads held high, unperturbed by the challenges and struggles come what may.
