Sanjay Dutt is one of the most liked actors in industry. Despite the allegations and proofs put on him, his fans and industry still believe him to be a good man and that the decision taken by court was too harsh. Munna Bhai 3 One of the most entertaining films, Munna Bhai series has a long awaiting third part. People are waiting for the Munna and Circuit chemistry to be back on screen. The film was announced long back but it doesn’t seem to have any progress now. In a statement, Sanjay Dutt said the production is likely to begin in 2017.
Total Dhamaal
It is the third part of Dhamaal series. First film was a huge hit but the second did not receive much response as the first. Thus, it was decided that the cast in the first film would be starred for the third. The estimated budget of the film is 180 million. Let’s see when Sanjay brings his back Dhamaal to us.
Ek – The One
Ram Gopal Varma project starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar and Sanjay Dutt. The story is based on three men, an ISI agent, a RAW officer and a CIA man who work together to save Mumbai from nuclear threat despite their differences. It was hyped to be India’s grandest and most expensive film ever, to be shot in India and USA.
Taalismaan
A romantic fantasy adventure starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It was the adaptation of the epic novel, Chandrakanta by Babu Devaki Nandan Khatri. It was ambitious project of Chopra whose teaser was shown during Eklavya – The Royal Bodyguard. It was loaded with special effects but got shelved in 2011.
Bhihad- Outlawed
Sanjay Dutt was co-producing this film with Kumar Gaurav, to be directed by Sanjay Lathuria. Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan were the main lead but Ajay backed out because of repeated delays.
Just Punjabi
First announced in 2003 casting Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan and Lara Dutta. It was the remake of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Producer Bunty Walia tried continuing it again in 2007 with Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but still it could not be made.
Jazbaa
A thriller by Sanjay Gupta, starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Fardeen Khan, Sunil Shetty and Aftab Shivdasani. The shoot was scheduled in August 2007 in Chicago but Sanjay Dutt’s legal affairs ended it up.
Koochie Koochie Hota Hai
The animated version of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Sanjay Dutt gave the voice over for character played by Salman Khan.
Nayak
Sanjay’s 1993 arrest stopped the production. About 35% scenes had been shot prior to his arrest. After his release in 1995, it was expected to be Sanjay’s comeback film but the project was dropped by Ram Gopal Varma.
