After such long wait since teaser, the trailer of ‘2.0’ has released. As Hollywood has Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther, Bollywood has superhero Rajnikanth’s movies. The day before we were talking about the 2.0 trailer clash with the trailer of Zero. So, after one day of Zero trailer launch, this trailer launched at Chennai’s Sathyam Cinemas. However, the entire film was shot in 3D. And, the trailer was also shown at the launch event in 3D, with 4D sound technology.

The film ‘2.0’ is directed by S Shankar. It is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robot) that starred Rajinikanth alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Almost 2 minute-long trailer is filled with Rajinikanth's superhuman on-screen antics as well as Chitti's epic face-off with Akshay's cellphone-hating mutant scientist.

The trailer shows that the story focuses on Chitti (Rajinikanth), a super-powered robot which now has to be rebooted to face Akshay Kumar's mysterious shape-shifting villain. Well, the catch is, here the villain can co-opt any form of technology as seen by him using the Indian population's cellphones to create an enormous eagle which is reminiscent of Jean Grey's Phoenix on the rampage.

The movie stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Sudhanshu Pandey, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain, Riyaz Khan, and Kalabhavan Shajohn. Moreover, the trailer shows Chitti, a good version of Marvel's Ultron in typical over-the-top Bollywood fashion. Also, it uses technology and machines to create a robotic avatar to take on the tyrant and save the sub-continent from impending disaster. All we can see is mayhem, skyscrapers falling, cities being torn apart and what seems to be a high body count. Apparently, the director has taken a page from the books of Michael Bay and Zack Snyder.

It is stated that this VFX extravaganza worked with over 15 studios globally, together working on different portions, and there were tons of delays in film’s release at different stages, being pushed back by various months. Apparently, though, we now understand why.

Some people also appreciated the trailer:^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1058611169634639873&^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1058604749010886657&^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1058603090020978688&

Well, to know about the film entirely, and to know how it will hit the box office, we have to wait till, November 29.
