The moment the trailer of the film Street Dancer 3D hit the internet, almost everyone fell in love with it. And today the makers of the film released one most entertaining or we should say the hottest number of the decade, titled ‘Garmi.’ Undoubtedly, the song is breaking the internet already.
The video of the song opens with the disclaimer-
“Caution: What you are about to see is too hot to resist”
And it showcases Varun asking someone to turn on the air-conditioner. While Nora looks hot dressed in a red and blacktop and cut-out pants, Varun is looking awesome in black casuals. Moreover, she, on the dance floor, has been seen matching steps with Varun before taking over to show her twerking and shaking moves.
Both actors Nora and Varun, starring in the song, are known for their dancing prowess, which makes this party song a visual delight. Especially, Nora, just like 'O Saki Saki' from 'Batla House,’ made it great to watch. Not only Nora Fatehi but even Varun Dhawan burned the dance floor in the song by showing off his killer dance moves.
The song Garmi, penned and composed by Badshah, has been crooned by Neha Kakkar and Badshah in a very classic way.
The official teaser of Garmi was dropped only yesterday by the makers, and it caused a stir on social media instantly.
Varun Dhavan took to his Instagram account and wrote,
“Hai GARMI 🔥🔥🔥🔥 #varunxnora out soon by my boyeee @badboyshah. Trying to leak the hotttest song of the decade #bangeralert🚨🚨🚨🔥🔥🔥🔥”
Further, he wished Christmas to all and wrote,
“Merry Christmas 🎄 #garmi🔥🔥🔥 out tomorrow #varunxnora”
Then he shared the teaser and wrote,
“Koi AC Chala do #GARMI teaser. Song out tomorrow @badboyshah @nehakakkar this is a banger #varunxnora 🔥🔥🔥🔥🎄 @norafatehi”
And, today when the song released, he posted it and wrote,
“#GARMI 🔥🔥🔥. It’s not a love song it’s a club song @badboyshah @nehakakkar @norafatehi @rahuldid @iamkrutimahesh this is some funky choreography #streetdancer3d”
The song also stars Badshah doing rap and actors-dancers Punit Pathak, Sushant Pujari, Chandni, and Dharmesh Yelande grooving to the music.
Well, the track ‘Garmi’ isn't the only track from Street Dancer 3D to get attention. Yes, its first song Muqabla also took the internet by storm and is the new favorite of many.
In the remake of the iconic AR Rahman song, Prabhudeva moves like a dream — he is reminiscent of late Michael Jackson even as Shraddha, Varun, and the rest of the team form the support dancers. The images from the song flash across the screen in shades of black, blue, and pristine whites. Must say that Shraddha-Varun duo did a good job of matching steps with the ‘king of dance’ Prabhudeva.
Choreographer Remo D’Souza’s directorial Street Dancer 3D is the third installment in his successful dance-drama franchise: ABCD 2 (2015) and ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013). The trailer clip shows Varun representing the Indian team and Shraddha as the leader of a Pakistani’s dance team.
And, the plot takes a serious turn with the Pakistani team having some real reasons to fight for the dance battle. Aparshakti Khurrana has his space in the movie.
The film is slated to hit the screens next year on January 24 and has Prabhudeva and Nora in pivotal roles, apart from the lead duo -- Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhavan.
