The man for whom just no introduction is needed recently one new title, i.e., “Sexiest Asian male of the decade.” Yes, we are talking about none other than Hrithik Roshan. The superstar has been entertaining the audience with his stellar performances and good looks for a long time on the celluloid and now became the sexiest Asian male.
The ability to get into the skin of different characters, and at the same time, displaying the sheer brilliance as an actor make this superstar stand apart from the others.
A UK poll has named Hrithik as the Sexiest Asian Male of 2019 as well as the last decade in London while he is still basking in the success of his last released high octane action flick, War. As he topped the overall ranking for the last ten years as well, Hrithik scored a double win.
The actor said,
“I would like to thank everyone who feels so and has voted for me. I am flattered but I also know that it is not an achievement. Just a person's looks are not relevant in the larger scheme of things. I don't judge people by the way they look. Similarly, I don't judge myself either by the way I look. What is attractive in a person is his/her story, journey and the way that person has dealt with situations in his/her own life. Looking a certain way for my characters is just a part of my job, which takes a lot of effort and hard work.”
Asjad Nazir, an award-winning entertainment editor of the international daily, has founded the list and annually compiles it. He describes Hrithik Roshan as the most talented star in Bollywood and is full of praise for him.
He said,
“Hrithik is the most voted for the star since the list was founded 16 years ago and consistently shown there is more to him than the Greek God looks, and physique. That was perfectly illustrated in 2019 with two contrasting Bollywood blockbusters, his humility, being a devoted family man and the way he promoted wellbeing. When history is written he will be seen as the sexiest and most talented star of this generation.”
Apart from Roshan, the top 10 list for the decade is ruled by actors and singers except for Virat Kohli, Indian cricket team captain, who is ranked seventh. The list, which is trending on social media like on Twitter in recent weeks, will be published in Eastern Eye on Friday.
After Hrithik, it’s 'Kabir Singh' actor Shahid Kapoor who spotted the second position while Vivian Dsena, television actor, holds the third place. Moreover, by securing the fourth spot, Hrithik's WAR co-star Tiger Shroff also made his debut in the top 10.
