Not all Superheroes wear capes. It’s the ideas that make a nation. It's the people who empower it. Presenting one such story from the heartland of India #Super30Trailer @mrunalofficial2016 @nandishsandhu @theamitsadh #PankajTripathi #AnandKumar @sarkarshibasish #SajidNadiadwala @reliance.entertainment @nadiadwalagrandson @pvrpictures @super30film @zeemusiccompany
As per the story, Anand (the character played by Hrithik) leaves his well-paying job at a coaching center for privileged children. And, he takes a stand against the class discrimination faced by the underprivileged children and kickstarts the Super 30 program to support them.
Furthermore, he makes sure that the deserving and meritorious students from the impoverished backgrounds are selected, trained, and provided with the right opportunity to achieve their dreams. The program is well-known for its high success rate of helping children get into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Back in Jan 2018, Hrithik had shared the impressive first look of the film, announcing that it’s his first film where he plays the role of a teacher. In the two and a half minute long trailer, he can be seen uttering this dialogue that was also a part of the film’s posters that were released earlier-
“Raja ka beta raja nahi banega. Raja woh hi banega, jo haqdaar hoga.”
For his role in Super 30, Hrithik went through a dramatic physical transformation and learned to speak in the Bihari accent. The film has been directed by Vikas Bahl who was accused of sexual misconduct by actress Nayani Dixit and an employee of Phantom Films. So, as a result of this, he was fired by Phantom had stepped down as the Director after the allegations. However, an internal inquiry conducted by Reliance Entertainment acquitted him of the charges, and so he was reinstated as the Director of the film.
Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, told IANS in a statement-
“It is true that the ICC (Internal Complaints Committee) report exonerated Vikas. With ICC clearing Vikas Bahl’s name, we don’t have a choice but to reinstate his credit as Super 30 director.”
The film is co-produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Reliance Entertainment, and (the now-defunct) Phantom Films. Besides Hrithik, the movie also stars Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena, Amit Sadh, Nandish Singh, Johnny Lever, and Pankaj Tripathi star in pivotal roles. The movie would release in the theatres on July 12.
