After the defeat of Pakistan team in recently happened Ind vs. Pak ODI match in ICC World 2019, many people, including celebs, started praising team India and defaming Pak Team. Following that, a video of Pakistani cricketers got viral that showed them having a fun time at a Shisha café late at night before the pivotal World Cup encounter.

Particularly, the viral clip had explicated Shoaib Malik, Pakistani all-rounder along with his wife Sania Mirza, who is also an Indian tennis star. Apart from the couple, other Pakistani cricketers like Imam-ul Haq and Wahab Riaz were also reportedly seen enjoying shisha at the lounge a day before the World Cup match. And, the moment video got viral, people blamed these cricketers as the chief reason for the defeat.

Some cricket fans claimed they saw Shoaib Malik smoking shisha at 2 am at the lounge on Winslow Road in Manchester and others having junk food, including “burgers and pizzas.”

One of the fans took to Twitter and wrote,

“Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, Imam ul Haq & Wahab Riaz seen at a Shisha bar at 2am on Wilmslow Road hours before #IndiavsPakistan match.

@TheRealPCB Is this why the team didn’t perform properly?

Following these tweets, many people out there started trolling Pak Cricketers. And now, the dispute has extended to Indian tennis star & Malik’s wife Sania Mirza and Pakistani actor Veena Malik.

Malik questioned Sania’s parenting while reacting to a now deleted fan video.

Veena wrote,

“Sania, I am actually so worried for the kid. You guys took him to a sheesha place isn't it Hazardious? Also as far as I know Archie's is all about junk food which isn't good for athletes/Boys. You must know well as you are mother and athlete yourself? …”

In response to that, Sania, mother of a son, wrote,

“Veena,I hav not taken my kid to a sheesha place. Not that it’s any of your or the rest of the world’s business cause I think I care bout my son a lot more than anyone else does :) secondly I am not Pakistan cricket team’s dietician nor am I their mother or principal or teacher”

She continues saying,

“To know when they sleep, wake up and eat .. thank you for your concern though .. means a lot ✌🏽”

Further Veena Malik wrote,

“Have some guts & don't delete ur tweets.Fortunately the technology has progressed so much that people can't deny their acts.Oh the magazine's cover u mentioned had morphed images. Also I can bringup all the controversies U have ever had bt I would rather not divert the discusion.”

Then she added with another tweet,

“Great to hear that u didn't took ur kid their. Oh did I mentioned you are a dietician or mother of the Pak team? I said u are an athlete and u must know how much fitness is important for athletes. Also aren't u a wife of cricketer? U should take care of his wellbeing.Isn't it? …”

She continued in another tweet,

“Okay so this Happened. First, she tweeted then deleted that tweet right away and blocked me. I mentioned my concerns in a very civilised, calm & composed manner. It could have been a healthy debate.”

She added,

“Also your tweet shows that me being worried for my country and cricket team has triggered you so much. Thank you for opening up to the world and showing your true colors! Much Love Veena Malik”

Later retweeting a reply from a fan, she wrote,

“Dearest Bhabhi, Attacking someone personally and reaching new heights of being low will not take you anywhere. Love, Veena Malik.”

Also, Sania slammed the people who shot and shared the video and wrote,

“😂That’s the video you shot without asking us,disrespecting our privacy even though we had a child with us?& got told off for doing so,& u came up with this crap?FYI ‘outing’ was dinner & yes ppl are allowed to eat if they lose a match!Bunch of fools!Try better content nxt time😂 …”

She later wrote,

“Twitter cracks me up 😂 and some ppl for sure .. you guys really need other mediums of taking your frustrations out .. peace out guys ✌🏽 it’s break time 😉”

Then, Shoaib Malik also took to his official Twitter handle and slammed the Pakistani media for boasting and distorting facts purporting to his personal life. He said that the videos doing rounds were not from June 15, but from June 13, which was not the night before the match.

He wrote,

“When will Pak media be accountable for their credibility by our courts?!

Having served my country for +20 years in Intl Cricket, it’s sad that I have to clarify things related to my personal life. The videos are from 13th June and not 15th”

He added,

“On behalf of all athletes I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families, who should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do.”

Further, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also clarified in a statement by saying that no player had violated curfew and returned to their hotel rooms’ on-time the night before Pakistan’s match against India. The board continued saying that the players had gone out with their families, two days before the match.
