After the defeat of Pakistan team in recently happened Ind vs. Pak ODI match in ICC World 2019, many people, including celebs, started praising team India and defaming Pak Team. Following that, a video of Pakistani cricketers got viral that showed them having a fun time at a Shisha café late at night before the pivotal World Cup encounter.
Particularly, the viral clip had explicated Shoaib Malik, Pakistani all-rounder along with his wife Sania Mirza, who is also an Indian tennis star. Apart from the couple, other Pakistani cricketers like Imam-ul Haq and Wahab Riaz were also reportedly seen enjoying shisha at the lounge a day before the World Cup match. And, the moment video got viral, people blamed these cricketers as the chief reason for the defeat.
Some cricket fans claimed they saw Shoaib Malik smoking shisha at 2 am at the lounge on Winslow Road in Manchester and others having junk food, including “burgers and pizzas.”
One of the fans took to Twitter and wrote,

Following these tweets, many people out there started trolling Pak Cricketers. And now, the dispute has extended to Indian tennis star & Malik’s wife Sania Mirza and Pakistani actor Veena Malik.
Malik questioned Sania’s parenting while reacting to a now deleted fan video.
Veena wrote,

Then, Shoaib Malik also took to his official Twitter handle and slammed the Pakistani media for boasting and distorting facts purporting to his personal life. He said that the videos doing rounds were not from June 15, but from June 13, which was not the night before the match.
He wrote,
“When will Pak media be accountable for their credibility by our courts?!Having served my country for +20 years in Intl Cricket, it’s sad that I have to clarify things related to my personal life. The videos are from 13th June and not 15th”

Further, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also clarified in a statement by saying that no player had violated curfew and returned to their hotel rooms’ on-time the night before Pakistan’s match against India. The board continued saying that the players had gone out with their families, two days before the match.
