After two blockbusters in Dabangg series, Salman Khan is all set to make another blockbuster from the same series, Dabangg 3. Yes, all Salman “Bhai” fans out there, get ready for another action-masala flick starring Chulbul Pandey.
Yesterday, the third installment of Dabangg went on the floors in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh home town of Khan brothers.
Back on Sunday, Salman announced by sharing a video while on the flight to Indore. He captioned it,

In the video, Khans can be seen saying,
“Arbaaz and me have just landed in Indore where we were both born. Then we are going to Mandleshwar and Maheshwar to shoot for Dabangg where our grandfather was posted when he was in the police force.”Arbaaz also added,
“That’s right. So we are going to have our first day of shoot tomorrow. Dabangg 3 starts tomorrow!”In response to the video, Sonakshi, too, gave a thumbs up to the Khan brothers, writing-
“Seeeee you soooooon!!!!”Also, movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted,

Salman Khan also posted a picture captioning it,

The team will stay at Ahilya Fort where they are currently filming the title song for the first 13 days of the schedule starring Salman in a larger-than-life avatar with around 500 back-up dancers. The song stars both Chulbul and Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) which will be followed by an action sequence in the film.
According to some sources close to the development,
“This will be followed by an action sequence on bikes involving Chulbul and his brother, Makkhi (played by actor-producer Arbaaz Khan). It will end with a week-long shoot in Mandleshwar.”For the third time, Salman will reprise his Dabangg character Chulbul Pandey - a bent cop who has his heart in the right place. And again Sonakshi will play as his wife.
Sources added,
“In his back story, which is a kind of prequel, Chulbul will be shown as a local goon with a heart of gold and a lengthy flashback will cover his metamorphosis into a Robin Hood cop. The conflict in the present with Sudeep is connected to his past before Chulbul got into uniform.”They also mentioned that the film would have plenty of drama and humor despite being an action-thriller.
Sources continued saying,
“Everything that the brand is synonymous with has been retained and adapted keeping modern-day sensibilities in mind.”After Sonakshi made a successful Bollywood debut with Dabangg in 2010, this is her third film with Salman. The first installment was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. However, for Dabangg 2, Arbaaz had himself turned director and that also proved to be a super hit. And, the third installment is going to be directed by choreographer-filmmaker Prabhudeva. Along with that, the music of the flick is given by Sajid-Wajid.
As in Dabangg, actor Sonu Sood played the antagonist. In Dabangg 2, Prakash Raj of Wanted was the villain whereas, in the third installment, Kannada actor Sudeep is reportedly set to play the antagonist. Apart from him, the film also stars Nawab Shah as the baddie alongside Sudeep and Rajesh Sharma in some pivotal roles.

“After the MP schedule, the team moves to Wai in Maharashtra for a marathon 80-day schedule.”The movie is slated to hit the screens in December 2019 around Christmas.
Before that, Salman Khan will be seen in “Bharat” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and that is scheduled to hit theatres around Eid on June 5, 2019. Rajjo of Dabangg Sonakshi is also promoting her upcoming release Kalank meanwhile which is all set to release on April 17.
