Superstar Rajinikanth is known for his much famous action and ‘Lingaa’ is out and out a movie jam-packed with Rajnikanthgiri to the best. Though the script of the film is simple however Rajinikanth is hauling both his roles exceedingly well.
Rajinikanth’s Raja Lingeswaran is a treat to watch and the other lead Anushkay Shetty is as well appearing to justify her role. Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha’s character comes as a surprise, as the actress has outperformed the role of a village belle swept girl.

Thought there are scores of things that goes in favor of the film on the contrary, the length of the film seems a bit excruciating. The action sequences of the film are even smartly and impressively shot besides the grabbing cinematography. The filmmaker KS Ravikumar, has done a brilliant job along with the Thalaivaa Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth is looking 10 years younger than his age executing excellent action sequels.
