Manish Gupta’s murder mystery ‘Rahasya’ is somewhat inspired by the double murder case of Aarushi Talwar and domestic worker Hemraj in Noida. The doctor parents of Aarushi, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar have been convicted and filed an appeal against their conviction. The two even tried to stop the release of the film ’Rahasya’.

The couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar claimed that there were lots of similarities between the murder mystery ‘Rahasya’ and the situations that led to the death of their daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraj.

‘Rahasya’; A film Based on Double Murder Case of Aarushi Talwar

The story of ‘Rahasya’ revolves around the murder of a young 18-year-old girl Ayesha Mahajan daughter of doctor parents Sachin played by Ashish Vidyarthi and Aarti Mahajan played by Tisca Chopra.

To which a rude Mumbai police inspector interrogates Sachin and Aarti, who just lost their daughter Ayesha like a dreaded criminals. The story of the movie suddenly picks up when CBI officer Sunil Paraskar played by Kay Kay Menon, who takes charge to solve the double murder case.

Director Manish Gupta Borrows Features of the Double Murder Case

It seems that director Manish Gupta borrowed some features like motive of murder, occupation of the main suspects of the high profile double murder of Aarushi Talwar, for gaining more attention of media.
Verdicts-
A lot of imaginary characters are added to the story to make the suspense thriller more interesting and dramatic.

The attractive and interesting part of the movie starts when CBI officer Sunil Paraskar takes the charge of the case. The performance of the star cast of Rahasya is eye catching. If you like movies full of suspense and mystery then don’t miss to watch ‘Rahasya’.
