PM Modi Biopic: Oberoi's 9 Looks Revealed, Twitterati isn’t Quite Pleased

As the election season is going on, it covered up the Bollywood too. Yes, the election wave can be seen in Bollywood films now as with films and TV series centered around Prime Minister Narendra Modi are about to come.

Actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to portray PM Narendra Modi in his biopic which will release on April 5, 2019. No wonder, the audience or we can say Modi Bhakts cannot wait to see the film on the big screen.

And, recently, various looks of Vivek Oberoi from the movie were revealed. According to the released poster, the actor will be seen in nine different looks which will encapsulate the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And, these several looks represent the various aspects of PM Modi’s life. Well, the movie seems to draw the life journey of Narendra Modi that how from a common man he became the Prime Minister of India.

As soon as the looks were disclosed, Taran Adarsh, the film critic & trade analyst took to Twitter and shared a glimpse of the different appearances that Oberoi will be donning for the film. He posted the picture that shows the nine different looks that the actor will be donning in the biographical drama 'PM Narendra Modi' and wrote,

“Vivek Anand Oberoi's different looks in the biopic #PMNarendraModi... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit... 12 April 2019 release.”

While talking about Oberoi’s acting schedule, some sources said,

“Vivek Oberoi shoots for seven-eight hours for the film. Because of prosthetics, the actor can only consume liquids throughout the day.”
Producer Sandip Ssingh said,
“I wanted a versatile actor to play this role, Vivek made an unconventional debut with Company and also gave Saathiya in the same year. I wanted the actor to give me one year of his life before the shoot began. Vivek gave 15 look tests that needed 7-8 hours of make up each day.”
However, people did not seem happy on getting the news that that character of India's Prime Minister -- now Chowkidar -- Narendra Modi will be played by none other than Vivek Oberoi in the flick. Hence, soon the poster of the movie was first released, Twitter was abuzz with reactions from the not-so-pleased audience.

The film is directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Anand Pandit, Suresh Oberoi, and Acharya Manish also features Boman Irani, Prashant Narayanan, Manoj Joshi, Zarina Wahab, Anjan Srivastav, and Barkha Sengupta.

According to some reports, Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal will also be portraying the character of PM Narendra Modi in his upcoming project. Although, nothing much has been disclosed about that project.
