After facing repercussions for last week episode of Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, it's a fabulous comeback with Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter on Koffee with Karan.
No wonder this season has seen quite a few of celebrity siblings coming on the couch together and the great bond they share. We already saw Anil Kapoor's kids Rhea, Sonam, and Harshvardhan Kapoor, also we saw Janhvi and Arjun Kapoor earlier, and now it’s time for another best duo, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter to grace the couch.
Moreover, as Shahid is the elder one, he shared how proud he felt of Ishaan to see him grow. The previous episode was a mix of fun banter and emotions as the duo spoke about films, family, and friends.
Shahid Kapoor is a seasoned guest, coming for the 5th time in Koffee with Karan, but this was Ishaan’s first time on the couch.
Hot-shot host Karan Johar asked the first question from Ishaan about rumors of him dating his Dhadak co-star Jhanvi Kapoor. Well, he clearly denied it. Ishaan said,
“We go to the gym together, listen to music, a whole lot of south Indian music which is not my choice but I have grown to like it, watch movies and eat food.”
Meanwhile, Shahid supported his stepbrother’s statement and stated that Ishaan ‘buzzes around a lot of people’ and also said that Janhvi shouldn’t be an exception.
Further when Karan asked Shahid about his marriage advice for newlyweds Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh. The Padmaavat actor said,
“Love her like Ratan Rawal Singh loved Rani Padmavati.”
In continuation, the 46-year-old host asked Shahid what piece of advice he would give Priyanka Chopra’s husband Nick Jonas. He said,
“Never back down buddy, you’re with the original Desi Girl (winks).”
Also, Shahid spilled the beans about his relationships within the Bollywood industry. And, he mentioned how he is extremely anti-social and likes to spend time with his family instead of stepping out. He said,
“My relationship status with most of the Industry is zilch.”
He further added,
“Ever since I got married, I have literally not had a social life. I don’t know if that’s a good thing, I probably think it’s a really bad thing. I have been recluse anyway and now I am so into my kids that every time I finish shooting, I am only with them.”
Moreover, in the much-entertaining part of the episode, the rapid fire round, Karan asked Shahid about his exes including Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. He said Desi Girl was the hard worker while Bebo was more talented of the two.
In all, this was one fun-filled episode ended with Shahid winning the Koffee hamper.
Well, another sibling duo Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan are in-line to raise the temperature on the Koffee couch in the upcoming episode.
