#KinnaSona: Sid-Tara's On-Screen Chemistry Doing Wonders in the Song

Almost a week to go to watch Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria's Marjaavaan. And, the makers have revealed one most romantic track of the film titled ‘Kinna Sona.’ Even though it is the remake of an old number, still it didn’t fail in melting our hearts.

Yes, especially cinephiles who are ardent fans of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's songs, only the name will ring a bell in the minds of them. And, the reason is, the song is inspired by Nusrat's popular song “Kinna Sona Tenu Rab Ne Banaya” from the 90s.

Given Bollywood's track record with remixes and recreations, this is the second remix of the same song. Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer movie ‘OK Jaanu’ also released a song ‘Enna Sona’ in 2016, which was a romantic number inspired by the original by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. However, the makers of the film also changed the song title from Kinna Sona to Enna Sona. Besides that, Raja Hindustani in 1996 also created the remake with the title ‘Kitna Pyara Tujhe Rab Ne Banaya.’ Hence, it could be said that Marjaavaan's Kinna Sona is the third recreated version of the same Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's original in Bollywood.

This version of the song is composed by Meet Bros, crooned by Dhwani Bhanushali & Jubin Nautiyal, and the lyrics have been penned by Kumaar.

Before this song, Marjaavaan has also released songs like Tum Hi Aana, Thodi Jagah, Ek Toh Kam Zindagaani, and Haiya Ho, and must say, they are back to back hits. This clarifies that after leaving the audience on the edge of their seats with the amazing trailer, the makers of Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer flick is  leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film.

Must say, this is the third song in the film, which is a remake of an old classic track after 'Haiya Ho' and 'Ek To Kum Zindagani.'

Moreover, while the Sid and Tara's innocent chemistry is sure to win you over, the makers have tried to maintain the originality of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan track. And undoubtedly, the duo, coming together on the celluloid for the first time, look beautiful together, and also the impeccable chemistry of them is a pure delight.

Director Zaveri spoke on Sidharth's character in an interview to Mumbai Mirror that how it is modeled on the lines of Amitabh Bachchan's role in Deewar. He said-

"Sid’s character is modeled on the lines of Amitabh Bachchan in Deewar, Sunny Deol in Jeet and Jackie Shroff in Hero. Raghu is a rugged, intense guy who walks around with a match-stick in his mouth and spouts some smart one-liners.”

Recently, Tara spoke her heart out in an exclusive interview during the promotional spree of 'Marajaavan,’ where she described the story of the flick in her way.

The film also marks the second collaboration between Riteish and Sidharth after Ek Villain. It is bankrolled by Divya Khosla Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, along with Monisha Advani, Nikkhil Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani’s Emmay Entertainment.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film is all set to hit the screens on the 15th of November this year.
