AMC studio produced, highly anticipated Hollywood film ‘The Walking Dead’ spinoff series has confirmed the names of main lead of the film. Where Cliff Curtis is asserted to be the male protagonist, on the contrary ‘Gone Girl’ Kim Dickens has finally bagged the role of female lead.

After a drawn out process of casting with many Hollywood actresses Kim Dickens got selected for the role by AMC. Created by Robert Kirkman, and Dave Erickman, the underway ‘The Walking Dead’ project would take place in the very universe.

The track of the film would walk around the characters of a divorced teacher played by Cliff Curtis and a guidance counselor ‘Nancy Tompkins’ depicted by Dickens, who are in a relationship. Dickens would be the mother of two with her former marriage, played by Alycia Debnam Carey and Frank Dillance.

Kim Dickens, As a Girl Next Door with Darkness to Her

Curtis’s character in the film would be a father collaborating with Nancy for keeping the kids Ashley and Nick, out of harm's way whilst the Zombie spate. Kim Dickens is said to appear as a girl next door in the untitled Walking Dead spinoff, code name Cobalt, with hunting past. There would be changes in the location from the original series, which is going to be West coast despite of Georgia.

Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are going to be the executive producers, the project.
