After the wait of so many days with multiple character posters and photographs from the sets, finally, Karan Johar released the teaser of the upcoming periodic drama ‘KALANK.’
Well, only one-word review for the teaser comes in mind, and that is ‘Magical.’ Also, it is one lavishly-mounted multi-starrer film, which casts Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, and Sanjay Dutt.
The 2 minutes-5 seconds teaser video introduces all the characters in the film. However, the teaser does not clarify that whose love story Kalank is all about but, there is a symbolic scene of Ravan Dahan when Roop and Zafar meets. And, that hints at a love triangle between the characters of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Aditya Roy Kapur.
There are only two dialogues in the trailer. In the beginning, Varun Dhawan says,
“Kuchh rishte karzon ke tarah hote hain. Jinhe nibhana nahi, chukana padhta hai”While in the end, Alia Bhatt narrates,
“Jab kisi aur ki barbaadi jeet jaise laage... toh humse zyada barbaad aur koi nahi hai iss duniya mein.”Apart from that, the teaser also hints about the mere connection between Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt's characters.
Earlier, Karan Johar took to social media to share the first look from Kalank. He wrote,

Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank will be Varun and Alia’s fourth collaboration after working together in blockbusters like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Student of the Year, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. This flick will also mark the return of Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Datt together for the first time in 21 years.
Well, with the teaser of the movie looking so astonishing, we wonder how wonderful the film is going to be when it would hit the screens on April 17.
