"I" is a romantic thriller movie directed by Shankar featuring Vikram and in the lead roles. The film was produced by Aascar Ravichandran and AR Rahman is the music director.

The visuals, VFX, action sequences, make-up all these elements of the movie have surely taken K-Town to the next level, thanks to the wonderful visualization by Shankar and his technical team to bring the director's vision alive.

‘I’ Movie: Story of Revenge of a Hunchback

The romantic thriller, ‘I’ is a story of revenge and starts with a hunchback (Vikram) who kidnaps Diya (Amy Jackson) and locks her in a solitary place. The film then recounts the tale of Lingesan, played by Vikram, a body builder who struggle to become Mr. Tamil Nadu but eventually he becomes Mr. India.

When Lingesan meet a famous model Diya, he suddenly falls in love with her but he doesn't expresses his love in the first place and he introduces himself as her fan.

Moreover, Upen Patel as John Diya's colleague, asks her for sexual favors but she refuses. To which John gets angry and blacklists her from the modeling industry.

‘I’ Is Not Up to the Mark Like Other Movies of Shankar

But without having any other option, Diya approaches Lingesan and asks him to become a model to replace John. Also Diya convinces her boss (Ramkumar) to try a new model for their new product. Lingesan becomes an attraction in the modeling industry but upsurge lots of enemies with this fame.
The movie ‘I’ had so much anticipation, but it doesn’t fulfill the expectations of the audience. In short the story is plain and do not have interesting twists and turns like other movies of Shankar.
