And finally, the first episode of the most awaited series, Game of Thrones season 8 is here. No wonder, its premier recorded massive ratings breaking all records of prior seasons.

People were already filled with expectations, and after the premiere of the season, it can be said that it includes everything fans were looking for, whether it is emotional reunions, gruesome murder, romantic encounters, or some high-voltage drama.

According to some reports from Entertainment Weekly, around 17.4 million viewers across multiple airings have watched the HBO fantasy series. And that made it the most-watched scripted entertainment programme of the year plus the biggest telecast in the history of HBO.

Talking about the first episode of the conclusive season, it is a big jump by the writers. It possibly holds entire content in six episodes like Jon Snow, Co, Jaime Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen have reached Winterfell, and Theon Greyjoy has saved Yara. However, one thing is missing, and that is the White Walkers. Possibly, they are still on their way, any way they have been marching continuously. Though, one more question arises that how did they not manage to reach Winterfell?

Although, the story demands it.

Apart from that, one more character has aged, and that is Jaime Lannister. Jaime looks a bit old, but undoubtedly charming, although the other characters look consistent.

Further, it can be seen that Kit Harrington loses his acting sheen when he is not playing the underdog. Moreover, Jon Snow learns about his parentage and that he had rocked the boat with his aunty Daenery is as if he feels more of a Scoundrel now than ever. Also, after learning that his brother and father were killed by Daenerys, Samwell Tarly displays grief with the innocence that comes with his character.

As a great part, the makers welcomed the viewers with a huge unsullied-Dothraki army and two majestic dragons and also increased the grandeur of the series. We got to see more of Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow. All we can say is the first episode is full of gasps and laughs here and there, a bit of nudity and the classy & punch dialogues.

Well, after the premiere, the huge talking point on Twitter is about the revelation of Jon Snow's true parentage. Around 5 million and more tweets about the show were recorded which eventually made another record.

Hence it can be seen that even the last episode of season 7 was one of the most breathtaking and incident-packed ever, then the first one of the conclusive season becomes the most uneven of them all. As the first episode premiered on April 15, the season will wrap up on 20th May after airing the final episode.
