#GoodNewwzTrailer: The Crazy Goof-Up Between Classy & Desi Batras

Akshay Kumar, who is known for giving hits, is back with another sure-shot blockbuster. Yes, and here we are talking about the upcoming movie of Akshay and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Good Newwz. The trailer of the flick is already here, and as we all expected, it is going to be the biggest laugh-riot of the year.

The movie also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kabir Singh fame Kiara Advani and must say they both add the much-needed punch to the film.

The three minutes twenty-two-second video opens with Kumar & Khan, as Varun and Deepti Batra, discussing the frequency of their sex lives at the doctor's clinic, which then transitions to a montage of the couple sneaking away on multiple occasions. Well, the couple is trying every way possible to have a baby, so much so that Akshay feels like it’s a surgical strike every time he enters the bedroom.

Hence it is revealed that Akshay and Kareena find no success in getting pregnant, so they opt for the IVF method for delivery. But while doing the process, their sperm gets mixed up with the other couple with the same surname Batra, i.e., Honey and Monika Batra, a flashy Punjabi couple. So now, it is concluded that  Kiara’s egg has been fertilized with Akshay’s, and Kareena’s egg has been fertilized with Diljit’s sperm.

But when this message reaches the “desi” Batras, i.e., Advani & Dosanjh, they decide to move close to the classy Batras, i.e., Kumar & Khan and the rest is the predictable stuff that generally happens. The desi Batras, becoming the unwanted neighbors, try to barge into the lives of the classy ones, and there’s mayhem.

Well, the trailer is full of laughter, tears, emotions, and it also promises to go beyond comedy to make for an emotional drama in parts as well.

Housefull4 actor Akshay Kumar shared the trailer and wrote,

Before the trailer launch, Akshay shared a video clip and wrote,

“Waiting to go for the #GoodNewwzTrailer launch and practising our version of ‘Ankhiyon se goli maarein 🙊😂’ ,while we wait for Bebo.’ #GoodNewwz coming soon! #KareenaKapoorKhan @diljitdosanjh @advani_kiara”

The cast is joined by Tisca Chopra and Adil Hussain in supporting roles.

With this flick, Kumar and Khan will be seen together onscreen after almost a decade after having worked in films like Bewafaa, Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, and Tashan. Good Newwzz also marks Dosanjh's first film with Dharma Productions.

The moment the hilariously goofy trailer of the film hit the internet, several fans praised the film and even touted it to become a blockbuster.

The film, Good Newwz, produced by Karan Johar, story and screenplay by Jyoti Kapoor, and helmed by debutant Raj Mehta, will hit the screens on 27th December, two days after Christmas and we will get a lot of time to watch it in theaters as it is holidays and festive vacation time.
