Kartik Aryan is now one of the actors, who has so many winning projects in his pocket. He started his career with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and has done many great movies already like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), Luka Chuppi (2019), and many more to come.
And next, he is all set to collaborate with Imtiaz Ali for the sequel of Love Aaj Kal. Recently, in an interview with media partners, actor Kartik Aaryan said that he is a changed man after collaborating with Imtiaz Ali.
His words were,
“I am excited about Imtiaz Ali’s next because I’m in love with Imtiaz sir. He has changed my thought process a lot. I think I’m a changed man now. There has been a huge change in me since I’ve shot for his film.”
Further, the actor stated that working with Imtiaz is like a dream come true for him as he had always been a fan of the director.
“Both, my acting process and personal mindset has changed after working with him. I’ve been a fan of his since the beginning, I couldn’t believe I was doing his film.
In fact I cried while shooting the last scene with him. That last sequence is extremely emotional. I was really emotional at that time because that journey has been amazing. I’m really looking forward to the film.”
Well, needless to say, that the sequel to Love Aaj Kal is already being tipped to be one of the most anticipated films of the following year. And, the popularity of the Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan pair, amid rumors of their link-up, break-up, and more, have added to the buzz of the movie. However, we can say that the man behind it all has been tight-lipped about it.
Yes, director Imtiaz Ali, without delving into the stories that his lead pair finds themselves in, has kept his focus solely on making a good product. Besides the fact that the film releases in February, the director does not want to talk about the movie. In a recent interview, he said that the movie deals with love in today’s age amid the baggage from the past.
The filmmaker showed a hope that people will relish the venture as he is ‘intrigued’ by the love that takes place nowadays and the ‘baggage’ from the past. Well, according to Imtiaz Ali’s statement, one can expect that the sequel will stay true to the original starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan, where love in two eras was portrayed.
The sequel set in Punjab and Delhi also features Sara Ali Khan and is scheduled to hit the screens on 14th February 2020. Kartik, meanwhile, will be next seen in "Pati Patni Aur Woh" on December 6th, 2019.
