Like many other Bollywood Actors such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Varun Dhawan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Shah Rukh Khan, and more, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone's much-anticipated Madame Tussauds wax statue has been finally unveiled.

Undoubtedly, it is an uncanny replica and even recently married husband Ranveer Singh can't take his eyes off it. The entire clip about the unveiling of Today’s Women’s wax statue was streamed live on her Instagram handle from London for her fans who are now equally overwhelmed by this eminent event.

Filmfare tweeted,

“This is uncanny! @deepikapadukone unveiled her wax statue at the #MadameTussauds in London.”

Ranveer was filled with awe while looking and revolved around the statue. He was also heard saying,

“Can I take it home?”

The actress joined,

"Now when you're here shooting for '83 and miss me, come here."

The look of the wax statue is a replica of Deepika's IIFA Awards 2016 look. She donned a champagne-colored cape lehenga by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee in Madrid. Every detail has been replicated for her statue whether it is the diamond-emerald neckpiece, earrings or her embellished lehenga.

In July last year, Padukone had met the team of experts at Madame Tussauds and at the time, she had said in a statement,

"I am so delighted. The sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to the incredible figure at the attraction."

Not only Deepika and Ranveer but both of their families including Deepika's parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone and Ranveer's parents Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani attended the unveiling of actress's wax statue.

Unveiling the statue, Deepika Padukone said,

“It’s a nostalgic moment in a way because the first and last time I ever went there was as a little girl with my family. Just yesterday when we were having lunch together, my mother said that she came here 35 years ago and she never imagined that she will have a daughter who will someday make it to the Madame Tussauds. We are here together as a family and it feels surreal.”
Earlier when Padmavat actress declared that she was undergoing wax treatment in July, he also said,
“It’s fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.”
Deepika’s family minus sister Anisha shared a picture of Deepika adorably looking at the wax statue from the event and captioned it,
"As if one of her was not enough... Double trouble #madametussauds #waxstatue #london."

No wonder, Anisha's Instafam declared this post as "caption win." One of the Instagram users wrote,

"Only sisters can come up with such captions."

While another replied,

"You're the funniest."

Also, Padukone posted ROFL emoticons in the comments thread.
