Deepika Only Actress to Feature in ‘Most Powerful People of India 2019’

Like every year, the list of the most powerful people of India is finally out. And, in High & Mighty rankings of 2019, Deepika Padukone, a woman of today, is the only actress to be ranked on 42nd position.

Earlier, owing to her great work in films and other talents and initiatives, the actress had garnered the title of ‘Most Gorgeous Women in the World from Bollywood’, where she topped the list.

The actress is recently known for her de-glam role for Chhapaak as Lakshmi, and her versatile choice of films is evidence that the actress is a perfect choice for strong and powerful roles.

Undoubtedly, Deepika Padukone, who makes a striking entry at any event with a classy style statement and also carries a legacy with her powerful roles, is the epitome of beauty. By endorsing various brands, the actress is setting the trends high.

One more biggest & most interesting thing happened in the High & Mighty ranking this year that three of the 16 personalities that exited the list had been the regulars since 2003.

Up from 22 last year, this list has 27 businessmen and women. Besides all, the world's 13th richest man - Mukesh Ambani has topped the list, who has a net worth of $50 billion (Rs 3.45 lakh crore).

A survey of Forbes suggests that wealth of Mukesh Ambani has increased by 25 percent in just one year. Whereas, Kumar Mangalam Birla, an Indian billionaire industrialist, has been ranked second in the list of most powerful Indians. Further, the list includes Gautam Adani, Anand Mahindra, Uday Kotak, Ratan Tata, cricketer Virat Kohli, Shiv Nadar, and Amitabh Bachchan.

Well, that’s not it because Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who stormed back to the Prime Minister's Office with a landslide win in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, topped the list of the most powerful politicians in the country. And, around nine of the ten most powerful politicians are from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
