The much known National award winning child actress, Shweta Basu Prasad who is making headlines ever since her arrest in a raid from a luxurious hotel at Banjara Hills, could now heave a sigh of relief.

Shweta Basu Released from Rescue Home

The actress was residing in a rescue home since two months, for being in charges of prostitution by the Hyderabad police. However, now sessions court in Nampally has ordered that the actress be released from the rescue home and allowed to stay with her brother and mother in Mumbai.

Basu was ordered to stay in a rescue home for six month by a lower court, after which her mother filed a petition for her release.

The Makdee actress was caught in a compromising position while a raid, as stated by the cops.  It has been reported that Shweta told the investigators that her bad financial conditions lead her into flesh trade. She even added that people around her encouraged her for getting involved in the act.
