Since January 2018 when Emraan signed the movie ‘Cheat India’ under the collaboration of T-series & Ellipse Entertainment, the flame of excitement in audiences begun.
Further, the series of intriguing teasers and posters fueled that flame. And, now the makers revealed the much-awaited trailer which is sure to impress you!
About the film, Hashmi said,
“The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I've read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography.”And, the 2-minute trailer justifies his words. It is extremely powerful. It essentially throws light on the dark side of our education system. Moreover, it gives a sneak peek into how the exam centers are managed to get the favored candidates selected in any particular competitive exam.
The film brings the impression that we have seen only in newspapers about the nakal mafias and the forged certificate in exchange for money. Also, we can say, it is a clear reflection of India's standardized education system.
Talking about the trailer, Hashmi as a clever scamster fraudulently gets students into management and engineering colleges. There is a whole team of his which writes exams on behalf of other candidates in the exchange of money. In this way, everyone gets what they want. Like Hashmi gets his cash, people who need money write exams and get a taste of luxury, and aspiring students easily go to their dream colleges.
Moreover, Hashmi considers rather emphatically that he is only helping those in need, but his deeds truly affect millions of people. And, due to this point-of-view, he does not consider his exam racket unlawful. He takes it as a business considering himself the Robin Hood of the education sector.
No doubt, Hashmi marks his comeback in this never-seen-before avatar along with full of crisp dialogues and punch lines.
Well, apart from Emraan Hashmi, the movie also features Shreya Dhanwanthary in one of the lead roles.
Anyway, the movie looks to be a delightful way to start the New Years. Even the audiences crave for ideas which are never tried before and Cheat India is presenting it. The movie directed by Soumik Sen and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2018.
