Since the day the poster of Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming flick Cheat India has been revealed, everyone was in a state of great excitement towards teaser.

Well, just a day before yesterday, Emraan Hashmi tweeted:
Khatam hua intezaar, #CheatIndia ka teaser aa raha hai kal..... yaani shukravaar! 12pm, 16 November!

And here the day came. Not trailer but the teaser of the film ‘Cheat India’ featuring Emraan Hashmi is out now. No wonder, the teaser is enough to make people wait for the entire film.

This is one of the realistic movies since it is inspired by true events. In the film, Emraan is playing the role of the professor named Rakesh Singh. The professor Rakesh helps aspiring medical and engineering candidates clear their entrance examination but not by fair means. Emraan says in the teaser, "Upar wala dua qubool karta hai, main sirf cash leta hoon”(God accepts prayers, I only accept cash). In simple words, the film draws special attention to the corruption prevalent in the Indian education system.

The actress of the film Shreya Dhanwanthary is making her Bollywood debut with the film. Though, she is not part of the teaser. Emraan Hashmi also shared the teaser of the film on social media and wrote: "Students, parents, educationists, politicos, media, and countrymen. ..the teaser of "Cheat India" http://bit.ly/CheatIndia-Teaser … #CheatIndia #CheatIndiaTeaser #NakalMeinHiAkalHai @tseries @itsbhushankumar @ellipsisentt @emraanhfilms @tanuj_garg @atulkasbekar @parveenshahani @khannasunny

Must say, Hashmi’s tweet did grab the attention of all towards teaser.

However, in August also, makers had unveiled the first look poster of Cheat India. But, no actor/actress has featured in the first poster. The film Cheat India is directed by Soumik Sen who had earlier directed Gulaab Gang.

Soumik Sen said the final schedule of Cheat India was done in September only. Earlier, in an earlier interview with IANS, Emraan Hashmi said:

"The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I've read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography."

The amusing part is Cheat India will land on the screens on January 25, 2019, and on the same day Hrithik Roshan's Super 30, as well as Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika will release. Well, to know which film will hit the box office, we have to wait until January 25.
