About a week ago, the trailer of Good Newwz released, which left the fans excited and wanting more. The audio version of the film’s first song, ‘Chandigarh Mein,’ is now streaming on various digital platforms (Jio Saavn, Wynk Music, Hungama Music, Gaana, YouTube Music, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Prime Music, Google Play Music, Apple Music). Must say, it is a perfect party anthem that would get you grooving to its fresh and peppy beats in no time.
This upcoming comedy-drama film stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in lead roles. These four stars can be seen donning shimmery outfits as they hit the dance floor and rock some insane moves.
This song was filmed on a lavish set in Mumbai. It is sung by rapper Badshah, Asees Kaur, Lisa Mishra, and Harrdy Sandhu and composed by Tanishq Bagchi.
Announcing the launch of the song’s audio version today, Akshay tweeted on his official handle-
Calling the song ‘party anthem of the year,’ Akshay shared his experience of shooting the song. He told in an interview-
“I cannot wait to share the song and video of ‘Chandigarh Mein’ with everyone who loves music as much as I do. If there’s one song this year that could get me out of my sickbed, it’s this number. I was running high temperature while shooting it, which is unheard of for me, but the energy and passion that went into this song couldn’t keep me away. I don’t know whether I love the beat more or the lyrics. And it doesn’t matter because when you put them together, you have the party anthem of the year.”
Further, he praised singers Badshah and Harrdy and added,
“They have killed it as always. I dare anyone to try and sit still through this song.”
The film revolves around two couples (classy Batras- Akshay & Kareena & desi Batras- Kiara & Diljit) whose sperm mix-up at an IVF clinic leads to a hilarious series of events. It is slated to release this Christmas on 27 December. It is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
