Sridevi was a legendary actress in the film industry, and she had delivered many films in Bollywood and Telugu film industry over the course of her career. She was the most successful and celebrated actress across the nation, and her demise shook the entire nation this year on February 24th.
The day 13th August 2018 marks her first birth anniversary after her demise this year. Bombay Art Projects will honor the late actress with an 18 feet tall mural to mark the day.
According to the report in Pinkvilla, expert Ranjit Dahiya headed the project with his team of skilled artists Kunal Dahiya, Bidisha Biswas, Arushu, and Richa. Sridevi’s look from her film Gurudev is taken as a reference for the 18 feet wall painting on a building in Mumbai.
Her husband Boney Kapoor revealed it in an interview with Pinkvilla. He was proud and emotional at the moment.
He said, "There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die’ Sri lives with us every day.. not a minute goes by when we don’t miss her.. thank u for this honour. Boney, Jahnvi & Khushi."
