Even since the makers confirmed that Alia Bhatt & Ranveer Singh are coming together in “Gully Boy,” the film has been the talk of the town. No doubt, fans immediately showered love on Ranveer's the first song Asli Hip Hop, and the movie became one of the much-awaited films of the year.
While all were waiting to know what the film has to offer, the makers have blown people’s mind with the second song of Gully Boy titled ‘Apna Time Aayega.’ Since it was constantly playing in the background of Gully Boy trailer, everyone was dying to hear the full version of Apna Time Aayega. And, the song is out and out amazing!
Well, Ranveer's transformation as a rapper is truly blowing everyone’s mind. And the best part of the song is that Ranveer sang the whole rap in his voice, not only lip-sync.
As everyone already knows that Ranveer Singh is a hardcore fan of rap, and for the first time, the actor has taken his off-screen passion to the big screen. Moreover, the song ‘Apna Time Aaega’ is a showing his hidden talent that how amazing rapper he is.
It was not an easy task as Ranveer met street rappers Naezy and Divine in Mumbai and went through extensive training to get his part right for the film.
Divine the rapper had told in an interview with leading daily,
"Ranveer is the man. He's the best man to do the movie and he's killed it."
The lyrics of the song talked about a person's struggle in life and earned much praise from the fans.

After setting the cash registers ringing with his last release Simmba, Ranveer is returning to the big screen with another fabulous flick directed by Zoya Akhtar.
Earlier, Zoya told news agency PTI,
"It is not a biopic on Divine and Naezy. It is a fictional story. It is inspired by them and their music. They worked with us on the script to make it authentic. There are a lot of things from their life but it is not a biopic."
Also starring Kalki Koechlin, ‘Gully Boy’ is all set to release on Valentines' Day, 14 February this year.
