The latest rumors suggested that, the forthcoming thriller film ‘Bombay Velvet’, which is directed by Anurag Kashyap, has been postponed because of some reasons.
However yesterday, director Anurag Kashyap came forward and denied that all the rumors about his forthcoming film’s postponement. The director also announced the releasing date of ‘Bombay Velvet’ on social networking site.

This film is based on a famous historian Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and PK fame Anushka Sharma are playing the lead roles in this film.

I had finished shooting my part too but there were a lot of changes in the sequences... So, I told Anurag that I will not do this film.
