Reportedly, whilst the shooting of PK with Rajkumar Hirani and Sunjay Dutta, Aamir Khan is often heard expressing his desire of acting in Munnabhai series as ‘Circuit’.
What the sources had to say about Circuit's role
“While shooting, the three of them would have conversations about Raju sir’s films. During discussions about the making of Munna Bhai (2003), Aamir would always say that he’d like to do the role of Circuit. He has always liked the films and he told Raju sir that if there ever was a third installment in the series, he would love to play that role. It helps that he’s played something similar in Rangeela (1995).” said a spokesperson.

The three stars were often seen indulge in long conversation about Rajkumar Hirani’s movies during the making of the film ‘PK’. During that time, Aamir expressed his interest in playing the iconic role of Circuit, taken to fame by Arshad Warsi. Sanjay even loved the idea on the other hand Rajkumar Hirani has given a green signal too.
The spokesperson said further that, "Aamir is often heard saying that he would like to do the role of Circuit. Aamir, Sanjay and Raju's comrade is very well known on sets which only makes them comfortable working together."
For now, the three of them are in continuous touch with each other for their upcoming release, ‘PK’.
