Shocking but true! Even before its release, Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's 2.0 has beaten records of Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Yes, it happened ahead of the release. No wonder, that Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema and also it broke many box office records during its release in 2017.

But now, 2.0 of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is all set to break all previous records. Not only today but since the trailer release, the excitement is definitely at its peak. Based on one report in Bollywood Hungama, 2point0 will be released on more than 6600 to 6800 screens, whereas, Baahubali got 6500 screens only. Even though Rajinikanth rules down South, but the higher number of screens have been given to North belt. We suppose this is due to Akshay Kumar’s presence in it.

According to reports, screen distribution has been decided in such a way- North belt got the highest number of screens with the count from 4000-4100 screens. And, around, 1200-1250 screens in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. Tamil Nadu gets 600-625 screens. In Kerala, it will release in 500-525 screens, and in Karnataka, it will have 300 screens. So, across the country, 2.0 will be getting around 32,000 to 33,000 screens.

The final runtime passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC ) with U/A certificate is of 2 hours and 28 minutes. Still, it will be the shortest feature film of director S Shankar's entire career.

After Enthiran and Shivaji, 2point0 will be the third association between director Shankar and actor Rajinikanth. Besides Akshay and Rajnikanth, the movie also casts Amy Jackson in the film. Moreover, it is the first Indian film to be shot entirely in 3D.

Well, the movie is slated to hit screens on November 29, 2018.
