Indian film industry is mounting through and through and the ‘1942: A Love Story’ director is the paradigm of this change. Indian filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra‘s forthcoming Hollywood film titled ‘Broken Horses’ is set to release in the upcoming year.
Making ‘Broken Horses’ Was Challenging Says Vidu Vinod Chopra
"Making a film in Hollywood was extremely challenging, it's the first time ever that an Indian has co-written, directed and produced a Hollywood film,"
"But the challenge turned out to be a lot of fun. It was very fulfilling for me as a filmmaker," Chopra, who has also produced hit Bollywood films like "3 Idiots" and "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S" stated the director.
Prior setting new bench marks as Munnabhai movies, Mission Kashmir, Parinda and 3 idiots, in Bollywood the filmmaker is all set to head towards Hollywood with ‘Broken horses’. Said to be an epic thriller, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Broken Horses’ is going to become a first Hollywood film produced, written and directed by an Indian.

Broken Horses, an Epic Thriller on US- Mexico Border Gang War
Broken Horses is a thriller film, which zero in on brotherhood, commandments of loyalty and vainness of violence. The film is set over US-Mexico border gang war and is based on an original story.
The film would be marketed and distributed in Indian by Fox Star Studios which is scrupulously pleased to accept the honor.
