Vidyut Jammwal is coming up with an action-adventure thriller film named Junglee. Its teaser was recently released. The movie revolves around the bond between a man and his elephant friends in the wild. The famous Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russel who is renowned for movies like The Mask, I Am Wrath, and The Scorpion King has directed the movie.

Vidyut is all set to portray Ashwath’s character who after his return to an elephant reserve encounters a racket by an international poacher. ‘Badshaaho’ which also starred Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi was his latest movie.
Just like Mowgli, Jammwal will be seen communicating with the animals who eventually become his companions. At the teaser’s end, Jammwal will be seen combatting poachers (apparently) to protect the forest and its wildlife.
For his role, Vidyut trained himself in Kalaripayattu in Kerala which reportedly helped him in getting into the skin of his character. He had an interesting childhood amid nature, with cats, dogs, and elephants as friends. It helped him connect with the subject easily.
Junglee will hit the theatres on 5 April 2019.
