The duo Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda from the movie, ‘Tamanchey’ were recently spotted at Tihar jail on the auspicious occasion of Eid. The lead pair, who is playing absconded in their upcoming release ‘Tamanchey’ were requested to visit Tihar jail by the authorities of the jail, on the occasion of Eid.
The event encompassed the performance of Tihar jail's music band, in the presence of DIG Mukesh Prasad, Jail superintendent Rajesh Chauhan and other senior officials. Along with intermingling with the inmates of the jail, they even gifted the music CDs of their movie to the Tihar music band.

Showing her sentiments Richa said, “The kind of creativity you display in such circumstances, is a source of inspiration for artists like us. We'll keep entertaining you at our best and we hope all of you get out of here as soon as possible,"

"We would look forward to visit this amazing place again, but we hope we don't see all of you here again. We pray to god that you get back with your families as soon as possible. It is easy to portray life of an inmate on screen but I can feel how difficult it is for you people to stay away from your loved ones." said Nikhil.
The Jail superintendent as well as DIG Mukesh Prasad, both showed their gratitude to the celebs for accepting the invitation and making the occasion special.
