Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is the forthcoming flick directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Aditya Chopra in association with Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee Productions .The lead actors in the movie are Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwariand and Swastika Mukherjee. The film based on the detective character of Byomkesh Bakshy created by Sharadindu Bandhopadhyay and Sushant is playing the main lead of Byomkesh Bakshy.

Dibakar released the motion poster of this movie in Kolkata at the Lalit Great Eastern Hotel, which holds a chronological value.
Bannerjee was giving his views about this movie, “It’s right here that Byomkesh’s first adventure catapulted him from anonymity to dangerous fame. I can’t imagine a more fitting place to launch the first look of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! than this hotel – which right on this day in 1942, would be full of chaos and mayhem as bombs fell around it, right here – 70 years ago – with Byomkesh probably on the hunt for a murderer not far away!”
