It's Time to Seize the Year! ‘Coz Student of the Year 2 is Here! Needless to say that Student of the Year 2 is one of the much-awaited films and so is the trailer. Well, the good news is, it’s finally out!
Yes, to all SOTY lovers, you are going to have that total KJo feels like we all expected. The setting of the first and second film is same, and reportedly, SOTY 2 will also have cameos by ex-students Varun, Alia and Sidharth. And, once again different kinds of students will come together for fierce competition and more.
Apart from Tiger Shroff who has already carved a niche for himself, the film also marks big screen debuts for both Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday.

The 3 minutes 5 seconds video starts with the classic entry of Shroff playing kabaddi with his teammates and also excited to study in St. Theresa, an elite college. Introducing Tara, she wants to win the dance competition, and for that, she also takes help of all-rounder Tiger. On the other hand, Ananya playing a role as a spoilt brat spray paints Tiger's bicycle in pink for the vintage parking slot fight and also calls him ‘Princess.’
Few differences you spot in this sequence is there's a brash villain Aditya Seal who can be seen hitting the hell out of Tiger and also leaving him injured. However, that doesn't obstruct Tiger from seizing his ultimate dream, the Student of the Year Trophy. Another difference you can notice is two girls fighting for one guy. Yes, here Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday both are in love with Tiger while he is after the trophy.
‘SOTY 2’ trailer, about a love triangle between Tiger and Tara-Ananya, shows Tara revealing her love for Tiger where Ananya replies, "So do I!"Moreover, you will also hear the recreated version of the retro hit 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' in the trailer.
Star of SOTY Varun Dhawan who is busy promoting his upcoming film 'Kalank,' interacted with the media along with his co-actors Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and, Aditya Roy Kapur.
He said regarding SOTY 2,
“I think Tiger (Shroff), Ananya (Panday) and Tara (Sutaria) are looking superb in the film. Alia, Sid (Sidharth Malhotra) and I are equally proud and happy about it. We never thought that there will be a sequel of our film and that too really soon.
