Priyanka Chopra the actress-cum-international singer is a set to show her acting ka dum, yet again with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Madamji.
Several times, it has been articulated that Pee Cee’s role in Madamji is a highly challenging one and is based on a girl-turned-politician. Now grapevine suggests that the role is based on Munna bhai Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata Dutt.

Madamji is reportedly a reality-based story of a star wife whose partner is stuck in troubles. “In Madamji, PC’s character used to be an item girl. After she gets married to the star, her husband has to personally request and often buy off titillating footage of his wife in her past avatar” quoted a source.

There is no confirmation regarding Priyanka Chopra character from the team of Madamji yet. However, one of Priyanka’s director friends asserted that her character in the film certainly has shades from the life of the star-wife and everyone would recognize so.“Her role in Madamji definitely has prominent shades taken from the star-wife’s life. It’s not sleazy but it’s going to be talked about because everyone will recognize whom PC is playing.”
Well only time will tell that PC’s character in the film is inspired by whom, for now it would be interesting to see Madhur Bhandarkar and Priyanka Chopra collaboration yet again after the much appreciated film ‘Fashion’, which even got PC the National Award!
