Interestingly, both the trailers are releasing within a few hours' difference.

zero

While the trailer of “Zero” will be launched on 2nd November at Shahrukh's birthday, the trailer of “2.0” will be launched on 3rd November. It's a matter of fewer than 24 hours.

Moreover, trade experts have concluded that this clash will turn out to be a notable one in the Indian cinema’s history. It will be a litmus test for both the big-ticket flicks.

Now, let's talk about these movies a bit.

The teaser made it clear that highlight of ‘Zero’ is that it will star King Khan in a dwarf’s role. There are two heroines Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. And, the film has been directed by Aanand L Rai who has co-produced it along with Gauri Khan. The movie was initially titled Katrina Meri Jaan. Though, later it was scrapped since the producers thought the title would be too misleading to people and make them believe the film is about her. With the war of many titles, a unanimous decision was made to call the film 'Zero' in the end. The movie is slated to hit screens on December 21, 2018.

2.0

On the other hand, the teaser of ‘2.0’ showed it’s a science-fiction film. It has been directed by Shankar Shanmugham. This movie is a sequel to Enthiran (2010) which had Rajinikanth playing the titular role. However, 2.0 is starring Rajinikanth reprising roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar. It is the most expensive Indian film made to date with an estimated budget of Rs 543 crore. And, this movie is slated to hit screens on November 29, 2018.
