Following Laila Majnu, acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is all set to make another love story. He has announced that his upcoming directorial venture is based on the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna and that it will be on a huge scale.

This discussion of Imtiaz Ali with the media was held on Thursday at the launch of great music composer Pritam Chakraborty's new company 'JAM8' in Mumbai where Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, and Advait Chandan were also present.

Earlier Imtiaz Ali announced that he is going to direct an eternal romantic film based on Radha Krishna folklore. This statement came on Janmashtami last year.

Further, he said,

"I am definitely going to make it, but I want to make it on a huge scale and that's what I am thinking.

I think it will take time to make it properly. It's a big film but at the same time, I feel that the purity also should come so, it will take time to go on and actually make Radha Krishna."

Even in the middle, there was a news that Imtiaz may collaborate with Shahid Kapoor again after their previous successful film together, 'Jab We Met,' but recently Shahid Kapoor made a statement that project has taken a back seat.

About that, Imtiaz said,

"There are lots of stories with me. This time around, I wrote many stories. There were lots of things in my mind but I wasn't really able to do that."

Moreover, there were some reports that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is making a movie featuring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. On that also, Imtiaz Ali stated that as of now, nothing is confirmed.

He said,

"I can't talk about it because we haven't announced anything regarding it. Now, we are at the drawing board and trying to work out things.''

''As of now, nothing is confirmed, but we are working towards a film but right now, I can't say anything about it.''

Recently in Koffee with Karan’s episode of Sara and Saif on the couch, Simmba actress Sara Ali Khan made a statement that she desires to date Kartik Aaryan.

And, when Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor Kartik was asked about Sara's remarks at an awards night, he blushed out and said,

"I don't know what to say to that. All I can say is that she is very pretty and I am really looking forward to her film."

Also, he told reporters that he wants to take Sara out on a coffee date

"Haan, coffee peena chahoonga."

So, based on these statements, it looks like Highway Director Imtiaz is all set to play the cupid.

To be directed as well as written by the 'Tamasha’' director, the Radha Krishna film is one of his dream projects. This eternal love story is very close to his heart and that he has always wanted to explore it on the big screen.

Well, we are also waiting for the same. Isn’t it?
