Hugh Jackman Reveals ‘Logan’ Poster

The claws come out for the last time. Hollywood star Hugh Jackman stays true to the promise made to his fans. The star shares the first official poster of the final part of the Wolverine series- Logan.

In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Hugh Jackman revealed that they are done with the filming and it is being edited by director Jim Mangold.

“We’ve finished shooting. I just saw Jim Mangold today. He’s editing away and finishing that.”

He further added

“There’s going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That’s all I’ll say. I’m not good. I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically, it’s going to be very different. Very different in tone and hopefully different to anything we’ve done.”

According to the reports, the film Logan is set in the scenario of the year 2024 and the film is even darker than Wolverine or X-men.

Chrysler 300 limo has been modified according to 2024 to give a more futuristic appeal and it is driven by the Wolverine hero Hugh Jackman. The hand seen in the poster is of a young girl who is a mutant. She has two claws instead of three and is mentored by Logan, the reports suggest.

However, Ryan Reynolds says that it’s his hand which is held by Hugh Jackman.

The final Wolverine – Logan is written by Michael Green. It is based on the comic book series Old Man Logan. The film is completely set in future where the world is captured and controlled by super villains.

Director James Mangold also updated his Twitter with a closer look of the film poster.

He even shares a snap of the second page of screenplay. It reveals that Logan is sick, he drinks a lot and heals slowly. The screenplay also reveals that sometimes he does not heal at all.

Hugh Jackman first played Logan in the film X-Men in 2000. This was followed by his role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine.

No actor has ever done movies playing the same character in the history of cinema. Thus, it would be the last film of Jackman in this series.

Patrick Stewart plays the role of Professor X (Charles Xavier) in the third film as well. The film also stars Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E Grant and Elise Neal. The film is set for the release in US theatres on March 3.
