Daawat–E-Ishq comedy drama film produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films. Music has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film feature actors are handsome hunk Aditya Roy Kapur and the gorgeous Parineeti Chopra are in their lead roles.
Daawat-E-Ishq is sweet love story, where love falls in the kitchen tasting sometimes sweet, bitter and goes spicy too. Parineeti Chopra as Gulrez from Hyderabad acts as show-sales girl, disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and a cook Aditya Roy Kapur from Lucknow as Tariq, who can charm anybody with the smell and flavours of his cooked biryani and kebabs, they both come infront of each other in the clash of opposite but similar spicy cultures of Hyderabad and Lucknow.
In her quest to find her Mr. Universe, she comes up against "Big Boss Hyderi Kebab" and in the process of arriving at a "tuning-setting", Gulrez and Tariq rewrite traditional recipes of love, crushes old-fashioned world-views and makes a deliciously romantic movie!

The film hoots off in the manner of a social drama, detour into a mild crime caper, then takes on the greatness of a culture clash comedy, and at last winds up like a love story with a happy ending. There are films like ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ that slip into a position of much disregard without leaving any impact. could’ve been savoured had Habib stuck to treating our tummies instead. The wrong marketing and social interaction had made audience disappointed. Could it have been better, the movie had got better reviews and audience.
