Now after almost three decades from the dreadful accident, a film dramatizing the incident is lately premiered in the New York City.  Featuring the story of people living in the place, the film titled ‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’ illustrate how the Union Carbide plant disaster affected the lives of people.

Director Wants To Spread The World About ‘Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain’

Being the biggest man-made disaster, the Bhopal gas tragedy exposed up to 500,000 people to the fatal gas lynching thousands of localities. Directed by Ravi Kumar, the film ‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’ features Rajpal Yadav, Tannishtha Chatterjee along with Martin Sheen in the role of head of Union Carbide India’s CEO and depicts how his bad choices lead to the debacle.

The 96 minutes long movie on Bhopal disaster is apparently going to screen in Bhopal on December 3, as coveted by the Chief Minister of Bhopal.
