After the recent release of his movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shahid Kapoor is all set for his next flick which is a Hindi remake of Telegu hit film titled Arjun Reddy. As the film will have a Hindi setting, it has been named Kabir Singh.
A couple of hours ago, Shahid Kapoor Instagrammed the film’s poster. It has a black background with an image of a fist and the film’s name written in red font.
He captioned his Instagram post along with the movie poster as:

As per a source, “The protagonist is a Punjabi like Shahid who is best suited for the part because he emulates both power and vulnerability.”
Reportedly, Shahid has been preparing for the role for last two months, having grown his hair and beard. He will stay in this look for some time now.
The film will showcase four phases of the protagonist’s life, starting as a collegian, becoming a professional, followed by a self-destruction phase and then reformation.
Kiara Advani will be the lead actress of the film who will reportedly join the cast in the November first week. Shahid & Kiara were recently seen in the recreated version of Prabhu Deva’s iconic song Urvashi.
